Frequently asked questions

Does this program work?
Chevron down

The aim of the More Good Days Pain Management Program is to reduce the impact pain has on your life. More than 80% of our clients tell us they have a significant improvement in pain, level of function and emotional and mental wellbeing.

It can take 3 to 6 months before you see the best benefits of the program. For this reason, it is very important that you practice the new skills you have learned.

How much does the program cost? What is included in the price?
Chevron down

The cost of the program is $119 per month, or $95 per month if you commit to 3 months. This cost includes the initial doctor appointment to create a personalised plan, a dedicated coach, and the program content on our mobile app. You may cancel anytime you think our program is not for you.

Who is an MGD doctor and what is included in the initial doctor consult?
Chevron down

MGD doctors are general practitioners with a special interest and experience with fibromyalgia and chronic pain patients.

During the initial consult, an MGD doctor will assess your needs and presenting symptoms to create a personalised treatment plan so that you can get the most out of our program. The plan will include a medication review if relevant, recommendations or referrals to additional clinician support where required (e.g. dieticians, psychologists, physiotherapists), and particular areas of our program which would be beneficial for you to work with your dedicated support coach.

If you have a primary physician, your MGD doctor can share and discuss your treatment plan with them, with your consent.

Who are the Support Coaches?
Chevron down

Our Support Coaches are all alumni of the MoreGoodDays program. They have learned to manage their fibromyalgia (and often other conditions) using our evidence based approach. Each of them bring extra skills to their role and are experienced in applying the tools and strategies to their own lives. They each have a passion for helping others and enjoy the challenge of working with people of different backgrounds and circumstances to help them apply those same tools to improve their lives.

Support Coaches are there to be a safe and positive space for clients throughout their journey with MoreGoodDays, acting as guides to navigate and get the most out of the program. They are not clinicians and will not be providing medical advice or recommending any particular treatments.

How are the sessions with my doctor and coach conducted?

All sessions with your doctor and coach are conducted virtually over Zoom video calls. You do not need Zoom downloaded prior to attending, simply click the link that we provide. Your coach will also regularly check in on you throughout the week via SMS.

How can I access your allied health clinicians? Can I claim it on my private health insurance or receive Medicare rebates?
Chevron down

The More Good Days Clinician Hub is made up of Doctors, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Dieticians that understand chronic pain and fibromyalgia. They are available to provide in-depth support and tailor strategies for your unique circumstances.

If you would like to book a session with one of our clinicians, simply let your coach know, and they will provide you with a link to book a time. These sessions come at an additional cost, and can be claimed on Medicare or Private Health insurance
