Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca’s career as a surgical veterinary nurse spanned over 13 years, during which she dedicated more than 8 years to the welfare and shelter work in Victoria. This period reflects her passion for animal welfare and her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of animals.

In addition to her professional endeavours, Rebecca has been a caregiver since her early teens, and her role expanded when she became a mother to her beautiful daughter in 2012. The challenges of raising a child took on a new dimension when her daughter began the journey of support and diagnosis for Autism and Anxiety at the age of 4. This experience undoubtedly shaped Rebecca's perspective on compassion, resilience, and the importance of understanding and supporting diverse needs.

The diagnosis of fibromyalgia in late 2020 marked a turning point in Rebecca's life. The journey to this diagnosis was a prolonged one, after many years of symptoms. In response to the diagnosis, Rebecca made a courageous decision to prioritise her health and well-being. Recognizing that a change in career would be a crucial step in supporting her fibromyalgia journey, she took a leap into the unknown.

When learning strategies and the importance of self-care, compassion and acceptance Rebecca was able to start feeling herself again. Finding the Bubbly personality she loves, being able to participate in family camping trips, gardening and being an active mum in her daughter's life. .

After developing many strategies and supports, Rebecca decided to become an accredited Health and Wellness Coach, studying her certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching through Wellness Coaching Australia.

She loves to empower and support MoreGoodDays participants with the amazing step by step chapters, giving tools, education and strategies to manage their Fibromyalgia.
