Laura Liversage
About
Laura is a warm, grounded, and deeply compassionate clinical psychologist who is dedicated to helping people navigate the emotional and physical complexities of chronic pain and other mind–body health challenges. She brings a calm, steady presence that helps clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they explore the connection between their psychological wellbeing and physical symptoms.
Laura has extensive experience across private practice and multidisciplinary health settings, where she has worked with individuals experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, fatigue-related conditions, and complex medical presentations. She is particularly passionate about supporting clients whose physical symptoms are intertwined with stress, emotional factors, or nervous system dysregulation.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to the individual. Laura draws on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and trauma-informed interventions. She is deeply committed to empowering clients with practical skills, emotional insight, and self-compassion—helping them move toward greater resilience, function, and wellbeing.
Laura’s professional experience has shaped her belief that healing occurs when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. She brings a warm relational style together with clinical precision to help clients create meaningful, sustainable change.
