I'm not great at writing reviews but MGD deserves more than five stars. The information given in the app is by far the most informative I have received in my years worth of researching for answers and solutions. My support coach was just what I needed while I guided through the online course and information.

12 weeks later I am pleased to say that I have come a long way. I have an improved understanding of pain and the neuroscience around pain. I have started volunteering. I am back walking, I am regularly meditating. I am socializing with my friends, planning an overseas holiday, and have just started Pilates. I feel very positive about my future.

MoreGoodDays has been the best thing to happen to my pain levels. It's a great program which acknowledges your pain rather than deny your lived experience (a breath of fresh air!). Not only that, but I feel like I can listen to my body and give it what it needs, rather than resent it, which is something I have never been taught how to do.

With MoreGoodDays, learning precisely what the condition is, was very helpful. There is so much misinformation about the condition out there; I just found it overwhelming. Learning that the pain does not actually mean there is damage within my body; it's a warning sign was a revelation! I am now back on my kayak and back on my mountain bike!

I had read and researched pain ever since being diagnosed but had never before heard the term nociplastic pain and when this is explained, it really helps you understand what type of therapies could assist with FMG. I am feeling a lot more positive and know that I can ask for help if I feel like I could do with some.

The most positive component of the course was assigned a coach to assist me navigate my way. My coach was outstanding because she understood how I was feeling, but it was more than just that. She was knowledgeable and gave me direction when I needed it. She was encouraging and gave me hope. Her contribution to my progress was enormous.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MoreGoodDays® program and how does it help me?

MoreGoodDays is an 8-week program designed to help you manage pain and increase the chances of making a full recovery from your motor-vehicle accident.

It’s built on the latest science and created with guidance from top pain experts.

The program has two simple parts:

  1. One-on-one sessions with allied health coaches who are experts in pain and recovery, with backgrounds in physiotherapy and psychology who tailor the program to your needs.
  2. A mobile app with short, easy-to-follow sessions you can do at your own pace. You’ll learn how pain works, build strength, and find ways to feel better.

Everything is done from home, so you can go at your own speed and fit it into your life, whenever it works for you.

What if I’m already seeing a psychologist or physiotherapist?

That’s great — our program is designed to complement the care you’re already receiving.

Our allied health coaches bring specialised experience in working with persistent pain.

  • Our function-focused coaches (with physiotherapy backgrounds) support you to build movement confidence, prevent flare-ups, and increase activity at a pace that works for you.

  • Our psychosocial-focused coaches (with psychology training) draw on approaches like Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and chronic pain-specific Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you navigate the emotional side of pain.

It’s this pain-specific coaching focus that makes MoreGoodDays different — and a valuable addition to your broader support team.

What if I’m not confident with technology?

No problem at all — we’re here to make things easy. Most of your clinician appointments can be done over the phone (no video required), and when video is needed for physiotherapy-based sessions, our client success team will guide you through it step by step.

Prefer not to use the app? We can simply email all the materials to you instead.

How long does the program last and how much time is involved?

The program is designed to fit easily into your routine, without taking up much time.

  • It runs over 8 weeks, with one coaching session per week. All sessions are done by phone or video — so there’s no need to travel.

  • Between sessions, you’ll go through one chapter per week in our mobile app. Each chapter is broken into bite-sized sessions, each under 10 minutes.

If you’re short on time, we can also send you simple chapter summaries by email — so you can still get the key insights without the extra pressure.

You’ll have access to the mobile app for 12 months from the date you start the program — giving you plenty of time to revisit tools and strategies whenever you need them.

What results can I expect?

The MoreGoodDays program is designed to support lasting recovery and help prevent or recover from chronic pain. It’s a proactive approach that empowers you to take control of your health, build confidence in your body, and improve overall wellbeing. Here’s what participants commonly experience:

  • Pain reduction: Around 80% of participants report a clinically significant reduction in pain by the end of the program.

  • Improved mental and emotional wellbeing: 76% say they feel better equipped to cope, with improved mood and less emotional stress.

  • Fewer flare-ups: Participants report fewer and less intense flare-ups, thanks to proactive tools that help them manage pain before it escalates.

  • Greater physical strength and confidence: By retraining their response to movement, most clients are able to return to the activities they enjoy — with less or no pain.

  • Less reliance on medication: Many clients are able to reduce or even eliminate their use of pain medications through movement- and psychology-based techniques.
  • More energy and vitality: By shifting the nervous system from a stress (sympathetic) state to a calm (parasympathetic) state, clients experience less fatigue and a fuller, more enjoyable life.
